ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMGR 27” WOLED QHD Gaming Monitor
The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMGR is a 26.5-inch WOLED gaming monitor designed for competitive players who want ultra-fast response times, OLED HDR image quality and smooth 240Hz gameplay. Its 2560×1440 QHD resolution and flat 16:9 format make it especially suitable for FPS gaming where motion clarity and fast target tracking matter.
The WOLED panel delivers 0.03ms response time together with DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification, HDR10 support and 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage. Because OLED pixels switch off individually rather than relying on traditional backlight zones, the monitor produces effectively infinite contrast behaviour with deeper blacks and cleaner HDR shadow detail than many IPS or VA gaming displays.
At 240Hz, the display refreshes every 4.2ms, helping movement appear smoother during fast gameplay in titles such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and Apex Legends. Combined with G-SYNC Compatible, FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA Adaptive Sync support, the monitor is designed for low-latency gaming across both NVIDIA and AMD GPU systems.
FreeSync Premium Pro certification additionally requires HDR support and low framerate compensation technology alongside variable refresh rate support, helping gameplay remain smoother even when frame rates drop below the monitor’s maximum refresh rate.
The glossy WOLED panel also delivers strong colour depth with 1.073 billion colours and approximately 111 PPI pixel density. Compared to matte OLED alternatives, the glossy surface helps improve perceived contrast and colour depth, although reflections may become more noticeable in brightly lit environments.
For connectivity, the XG27AQDMGR includes 2× HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with 2× USB-A ports. The ergonomic stand supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment, while 100×100 mm VESA mounting allows use with a compatible monitor arm.
ASUS OLED Care technologies are additionally included to help reduce long-term image retention risk during normal mixed-use gaming environments.
