The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless is a lightweight multi-platform gaming headset designed especially for Xbox players who also use PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and handheld gaming devices. At approximately 260g with custom 40mm neodymium magnetic drivers, 40-hour battery life and USB-C wireless designed for Xbox compatibility, the headset is built for players who move between several gaming platforms without changing headsets.
The 40mm drivers deliver a 20Hz–22kHz frequency response together with 36 Ohm impedance and 107 dB sensitivity, helping provide clear footsteps, directional cues and balanced multiplayer sound during games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite and Apex Legends.
For gaming, the low-latency 2.4GHz USB-C wireless dongle delivers faster audio response than Bluetooth connections and is designed for stable Xbox Series X/S compatibility. Bluetooth 5.3 is additionally useful for mobile devices, music and casual wireless listening where low-latency competitive performance is less critical.
The headset weighs approximately 260 grams and uses a lightweight dual-hinge design intended for long gaming sessions. Closed-back earcups provide passive noise isolation but do not include active noise cancellation.
Battery life reaches up to approximately 40 hours depending on usage conditions and connection mode. Fast charging provides up to 9 hours of use from a 15-minute USB-C charge.
The detachable microphone supports 32kHz / 16-bit high-bandwidth voice capture with a 100Hz–10kHz microphone frequency response range for clearer Discord, Xbox party chat and multiplayer communication. On-ear volume and mute controls are additionally included for easier adjustment during gameplay.
