GIGABYTE MO27Q28G 27” WOLED QHD 280Hz Gaming Monitor
The GIGABYTE MO27Q28G is a 27-inch WOLED gaming monitor designed for competitive players who want ultra-fast 280Hz performance together with OLED HDR image quality. Its 2560×1440 QHD resolution, 0.03ms response time and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification make it especially suitable for esports-focused gaming where motion clarity and fast target tracking matter.
The WOLED panel delivers effectively infinite contrast behaviour because OLED pixels switch off individually, producing deeper blacks and stronger HDR scene depth than traditional IPS or VA gaming monitors. Compared to QD-OLED technology, WOLED uses a different colour reproduction structure while still maintaining extremely fast response performance and premium OLED contrast characteristics.
With 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, 10-bit colour depth and 1.07 billion colours, the monitor provides richer colour reproduction and cleaner HDR highlights than many standard LCD gaming displays. The 280Hz refresh rate renders a new frame every 3.6ms compared to 4.2ms on a 240Hz display, helping movement appear smoother during competitive FPS gameplay.

The GIGABYTE MO27Q28G uses WOLED panel technology rather than QD-OLED. Both technologies provide extremely fast response times and OLED-level contrast, but they achieve colour reproduction differently.
WOLED panels use a white OLED light source filtered through colour layers, while QD-OLED panels use quantum dot conversion technology. In practice, both technologies deliver significantly deeper blacks and faster pixel response than traditional LCD gaming monitors, making them highly suitable for competitive gaming and HDR content.
